Vision

Our vision is to make Selangor one of the leading states in the region for supporting and empowering the neurodivergent community. By learning from global best practices and fostering collaboration between the community, government, and private sector, we strive to create an inclusive environment where every neurodivergent individual is valued, supported, and given equal opportunities to thrive.

Objective

The Neurodiverse Association of Selangor (NeuroSel)  is committed to advocating for the rights and recognition of neurodivergent individuals, providing practical support services, and offering evidence-based policy recommendations to strengthen inclusivity across all sectors. Through awareness-building, stakeholder engagement, and capacity development, we aim to bridge gaps in access, education, and opportunities, ensuring that Selangor becomes a model of neurodiversity inclusion and empowerment in Malaysia and beyond.

President

Izhar Moslim is the President of Neurodiverse Association of Selangor (NeuroSel) and Chairperson and Co-founder of Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti (PDK) Damansara Damia located in Kota Damansara. He is a father of a neurodivergent daughter and through his experience he developed a deep passion to assist improving the quality of life for neurodivergent individuals and their families.

He brings with him extensive experience in programme management, public policy analysis, business strategy and management consulting in various industries.  Encik Izhar currently holds the role as a General Manager with a private investment firm, Non-Executive Independant Director of a Public Listed Company and holds various Directorships in private entities.

Secretary General

Aliaa Anwar is a project manager with over a decade of experience in architecture and the built environment. A graduate of RMIT University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Design, she began her career in academia before moving into practice. Her portfolio includes diverse projects ranging from small-scale developments to masterplans. She currently leads her own design and build company with her partner.

Aliaa’s involvement in neurodiversity advocacy began on a personal note — growing up with a neurodivergent brother, and later, through her eldest daughter’s diagnosis at age five. She is now entering her teenage years. This experience deepened her passion for learning, connecting with other parents, and raising awareness about neurodivergence. Being part of Persatuan Neurodivergen Selangor, Aliaa is committed to building a supportive and informed community that empowers neurodivergent individuals and their families to thrive.
